Why are services and subscriptions paid for after they have happened (i.e. in arrears)?

We just want to make sure you are charged correctly and don't know what you have ordered each month

For example if you go on holiday and pause your housekeeping, we don't want to have already charged you for that.

To capture the full months charges, we will include them in your next billing cycle. This is a month and 1 day after the period in question.
